My very talented sister

On Friday night my family got to go down to Salt Lake to the Utah Arts Festival Gallery. While we totally enjoy art Brad and I definitely not super artsy people so this was a pretty new experience for us. My dear sister Rachel was selected a few months ago to be one of their featured artists down there. This was such an exciting thing for her. She is an amazing photographer- I have a link to her on the side. She put a lot of work into getting ready for the event and it totally paid off. All of her stuff looked so great up there. They had a reception on Friday night to go and meet all of the artists and it was so neat to see how many people came to support her! Her pictures will be on display there through the middle of June so if anyone is in the market for something new to hang on the wall you should go check it out for sure. You better hurry fast though because she already sold a piece on the first night. You can go to her website and purchase anything from there as well. Way to go Rach! We are so proud of you!

Some of her pics that were at the gallery- Seriously she is so talented!

Happy Mothers Day!

To this beatfiul woman:

What an incredible, amazing person she is. I just love her so much and I am so grateful for her example and love. She has so much faith and is such an example of endurance and pushing through when times are tough. Love you Mom!

And these beautiful women:

Sarah who has overcome some incredible trials and is happier than I have ever seen her.

Bethany who is the queen of living out of boxes and still manages to be the queen of organization and never misses anything.

Rachel who has carried herself so gracefully over the past couple of months and who has shown more strength than I can imagine.

Jenny who must be the most patient mother and who sacrifices so much for her 3 cuties.

And these beautiful women:

Brad's mom is always so willing to help us whenever, wherever. We always know we can count on her for whatever we need.

Michelle who is the mother -to- be and we are so excited for her!

Sometimes the thought of one day becoming a mother is so overwhelming and it just seems like I still have so much to learn before I am ready for that. But I know that with these incredible woman in my life as examples I will make it there someday!

MS Walk 2009

(I stole this pic from mom and dad's blog- thanks guys!)

This post is a little late but now that I am done with school for a while I actually have time for this. Last Saturday was the MS walk in Ogden. My family does the walk every year and it is a fun thing for us to get together for. This year it was a little wet and chilly but we made it through. It is just so fun to be able to walk and talk with everyone. We had our biggest team ever this year- thanks to our growing family! We have been so blessed that my dad's health has been so good and I know that it has a lot to do with the meds that are available to him (even though they are ridiculously expensive). So this event is so important to us to help raise money for more research to help people with MS! Thanks to everyone who walked with us and donated!
