12.28.06

Time really does FLY so fast and it seems so weird that it has already been 3 years since we got married. I decided to compile a list of some of the things that I have learned from being married to Brad for the past 3 years:

Everything is better with a coke- at least in Brad's world

There are actually meals to cook that don't consist of tomatoes and onions and I have become quite good at making them

The movie is not over until the credits stop rolling (you never know when they might throw an extra clip in the end)

There is nothing better than a late night cuddle on the couch

Sitting by myself in sacrament meeting isn't that bad

My favorite place to be is inside Brad's hug

Life is so much better when you have someone you love helping you along the way

Being married to your best friend really is the greatest happinnes!

Chop Chop!

Here is the before:

(don't mind the lack of makeup in this one- it was a little early)

Here is the during:

Here is the after:

It took two years to grow it out and about 20 minutes to cut it off, but I love it! I am definitely a short hair person and that long hair totally tested my patience! I decided a while ago that I wanted to grow my hair out to donate it and have been waiting forever for it to be long enough and on Friday it finally was! I donated about 12 inches which is more than I thought I had. I am so glad to see it go- Brad was a little to attached to the long hair though so he's isn't too excited about the new do- but I am!

Thanksgiving Festivities

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving break together. It is weird for Brad and I to get even one day off together but we somehow managed to have 3 in a row. I didn't really take many pictures except this one of our tree this year. This is what we did most of our day on Friday and I am very happy with how it turned out this year. I was able to go to the Nutcracker the day before thanksgiving with my mom, Bethany and her girls and it was so fun. Totally made it feel like Christmas! We spent Thanksgiving day with my family and had tons of fun. The food was so yummy- seriously, I don't normally like turkey, I usually just take a little bit. But this year it was so moist and flavorful I kept on wanting more. We had fun playing games together and probably played for a little too long. It's a good thing noone had to work in the morning. Brad and I also were able to go and get some shopping done as well as watch some movies and take some naps. Pretty much we just enjoyed relaxing together. I am so in love with this time of year. It is so good to have a reminder of how blessed we are and to have more oppurtunities to serve people. I can't get enough of all the Christmas music and decorations everywhere. I am almost done with my shopping which is exciting, I actually purposefully put off some of it because I really like the hussle and bussle of the season and I didn't want to miss out on it. I know, I am a nerd. I am also sure that when I am trying to hunt down a parking place at the mall I won't be so in love with that.
