Too Cute!

This little guy joined our family last week and I can't get enough of him! Brad's sister Michelle had Bridger on Thursday 9/24. We went and visited them on Friday and it made me so baby hungry (don't worry, I won't give in). He is so tiny and I could have held him all day. I even got Brad to hold him, he was so nervous but he did great and looked so cute with him...ah...one day!Welcome to the world buddy!

Farewell Summer

Well- school has started which means that for us Summer is over. It went so fast this year and I hardly had any time to post. So I am making up for that now.

Although Chicago was definitely the highlight of our summer we did manage to get out and do a few other fun things, below is just a taste of the rest of our Summer!

Hike up Waterfall Canyon

On the 24th of July we (mostly me) decided it would be fun to go on a hike. It had been a long time since either of us had done this one so we thought it would be a good one. Brad is not much of a hiker and was not to thrilled about my idea but I think he had a lot more fun than he thought he would! We had perfect weather and it was so neat when we got to the top. The views were so worth it.

Peter Breinholt Concert

For us summer is not complete without a Peter Breinholt concert. We went to this concert at the beginning of August at the Sandy Ampitheater. It was an excellent show and it was so fun sit on the grass and cuddle in the blankets and just listen. (I know- we're nerds). He even did a little Michael Jackson tribute and it was so funny. We pretty much just laughed the whole way through it.

We celebrated SO many birthdays this Summer. You would think that with that many family get-togethers we would have managed to get some pics...but we didn't! So Happy Birthday to all you born during this sunny time of year: Rachel, Brett, Joey, Lynden, Chris, Marci, Jenny, Mazzy, Bethany, Colton and David!

And Speaking of family.... we thought it would be a good time to introduce a new member to our family.

Meet Vivian:

Or as we like to call her- Viv the Civ!
We decided it was time to part with the car that Brad had been driving and get something a little safer and more reliable. After much deliberation we settled on the Civic and we absolutely love it! I only wish I got to drive it more but since we bought it for Brad it is usually gone with him. But you better believe I drive it whenever I can, which is mainly on runs to the grocery store which I suddenly don't put off having to do!
